Oda Mae had a little accident this morning. She fell and chipped her two front teeth. I took her to see a dentist and he said that the best thing to do right now was nothing. Just to watch for any signs of infection. He said that it was possible to repair the teeth for cosmetic reasons, but that he didn't advise it until she was older. So we'll just have to wait and see how we feel about things when she starts school. Her permanent teeth will not be affected.
Oda Mae seems to not be in any pain. She cried for a few minutes after it happened, but she's just fine now. She doesn't put her fingers in her mouth or anything. I'm pretty sure Oda Momma and I feel worse about it right now than Oda Mae does.
Is this the part where I start getting grey hair?

Nope. That starts when she starts dating. :-)
Not to discount it, but it could have been worse. Noobified's little sister managed to completely jam one of her front teeth back into her gumline when she fell one day as a child.
Her mom spent a LOT of time searching for the tooth, assuming it had been completely knocked out.
Nope - not out... in.
Ow.
The grey hair should have started showing the day she was born. LOL
It's not like you can pick any color from a box you want just call mom.
Poor little thing.
Logan was playing at the Y and got someones finger in his eye. Nothing seemed damaged, but it weeped enough (and so did he) that we took him to the dr the next day. After a test or two, they said there was no damage, and to just wait it out.
I think the grey hair starts as a result of the frustration of not being able to take away booboos. Lift heavy thing, I can do. Swapping booboos? - I'm rendered helpless.
As others have said, either you get it when she starts dating or you should have it already ;)
