Flem(PHLEGM), Flem(PHLEGM), Flem(PHLEGM), Flem(PHLEGM)...Lovely Flem(PHLEGM), Wonderful Flem(PHLEGM)...

Edit: (Okay, so I don't know how to spell the word "PHLEGM". After Oda Momma and Oda Grandmomma had a good laugh at my expense, Oda Momma finally decided to tell me (well after the fact) that I had completely misspelled the word "PHLEGM". I'm glad you all had a good time.)

Oda Mae and I went to the doctor AGAIN this morning. I'm starting to get to know the staff, nurses, and doctors very well now. Oda Mae slept on me last night so that she wouldn't cough so much all night long. Yesterday I started to notice some coughing and fleminess (PHLEGMINESS)coming from her, so last night when it started to get worse, I knew that I was in for it. When Oda Momma and I went to bed last night, Oda Mae started coughing and crying so I told Oda Momma good night, and that I would see her in the morning. I took Oda Mae and we "slept" on the couch. She did a lot better when she wasn't lying flat. I did not. Nevertheless, we made it to this morning and I called the doctor because there is supposed to be some kind of rampant virus going around that starts with a cough. We went in and apparently she has a cold. We got a prescription to make her feel a little bit better. I hope it works. In the mean time, we have an appointment for next Friday to check out her ear infection (which is apparently gone now). I'm just hoping we don't have to go in before then.

I am glad to say that Oda Mae did not have the "Ebola" virus that Uncle Nonchalant Savant gave her for Christmas.

For all of you who are just dying to know...I went to the doctor on Monday and was diagnosed with allergies possibly aggravated by an enlarged uvula. I have to go see a uvula (ENT) specialist next Friday after Oda Mae's appointment. Hope I get to feeling better soon as well. You know what they say about guys with a large uvula...

...they tend to snore.

I'm YFUR because I didn't rub your nose in "flem", right?

Which also reminds me of one of my favorite jokes:

Q: What's green and ice skates?
A: Peggy Phlegm!

(this is only funny if you know who Peggy Flemming is... If you don't - damn your youthful ignorance!!)

Dang, seeing "uvula" somehow transforms in my mind to "vulva." Yeah I know it's not quite the same set of letters... darn wacko dyslexia. Still, it's your fault for typing "uvula" all over this page.
