Oda Potter....

So I'm surfing some blogs tonight when I found a Daddy Blog that had this cool "face recognition" link on it. I promptly put in Oda Mae's face and this is what came up.....

Here is the picture of Oda Mae that I put in...

And the Face Recognition came up with...

Emma Watson, of Harry Potter fame. I knew that Oda Mae would be real smart like Hermione Granger!!!!

EDIT: Uncle Nonchalantsavant promptly merged the two faces together to come up with something that looks suspiciously like a monkey experiment gone wrong...

BTW: Oda Momma and I went out on a date last night, (The first since July) and saw Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. Very good! Kudos go out to Gran for odasitting a somewhat cranky Oda Baby! :) Thanks Mom!

Happy Thanksgiving....

a bit late, but it's all still the "Holiday Season".

Oda Mae had a great Thanksgiving. She got to eat Mac-N-Cheeze, Sweet Potatoes, Mashed Potatoes, Lots of "Oda O's", Turkey (well she sucked on it anyway).

Sorry for the lack of posting this week....we've been busy.

I just got all the Christmas Lights down and now we have to put them up. The silver tubs are all NEW lights this year!!!!!

Oda Mae's New Trick...

Oda Mae and I have been spending a lot of time together the last couple of days. I'm really glad! I really missed her when I was out of town. During that time we've learned that she LOVES!!!!!! vanilla pudding! She does not love chicken. (SEE BELOW)




We've also been practicing standing up....tonight she did VERY well.



She can stand up now for several seconds. She starts to lose control when she realizes that she is standing up all by herself. Then she starts to giggle! Then Daddy has to catch her before she falls down and bonks her head. (She only did that once tonight...right after the first picture.)

So that's what we did today!

Before the whole Halloween rush, Oda Mae and Oda Momma got to go see some very good friends during the big "homecoming" weekend. I was on the other side of the state, so I didn't get to go. It looks like they had a lot of fun!
