This morning, Bull came out to play and it was love at first sight. When Cow and Bull saw each other it was "wuv, twue wuv..." They decided to get married today and they invited Oda Mae to be their flower girl. She was very honored! Six hours later.......

3 Months

Yesterday was Oda Mae's 3 month birthday. We celebrated by staying home and blowing bubbles. Hope everyone has a great Sunday!

It's official...

I'm going to be a SAHD. Brenda and I are both excited about our new positions in the family. Brenda will be able to enjoy the companionship of the coworkers that she truly misses, and I will be able to take care of Oda Mae and the house on a full time basis. We know that this setup is somewhat "untraditional", but we feel it is the best one for our family right now. Thanks go out to all of our family and friends who have encouraged us to do what's right for us. We will continue to need your support as some people are not as comfortable with this type of setup as others.

Oda Mae.....has been having the best time lately rolling over. I think she has decided that she is just going to roll wherever she needs to go. She is so funny!

Yesterday we went on quite the outing. We went to Half Price Books for a little "Father's Day" shopping, and she loved it. She got to look around at all kinds of books and people. She even skipped her afternoon nap just to take in all the sights. Then we went to see our friends new apartment in down town. She got on the floor and started squealing in delight. She was having a good time. Oda Mae is really starting to discover her voice now. After that we all went out to Uno's Pizza where she was the star of the show for quite some time.

For all you computer/technical minded individuals out there.....I want to make videos of Oda May et. al., but I'm having some problems getting my video to burn onto a disk once I upload it to the PC and edit it on my software. It get a message the a disk drive is not found that will burn the DVD. I also sometimes get the message E:\ Drive not accessible etc. What do I do? I can burn audio and data, just not video.

Went to a party tonight...

Brenda and I went to a party tonight while Grandma babysat Oda Mae.............

We weren't even home. Grandma did get some good pictures though. Guess we'll have to wait to see her roll over in person. I think they had a good time.

Okay, I'll try to post more often.

A couple of weeks ago, when the Oda Family went to see the Oda Pediatrician we had a very good time. This was Oda Mae's 2 month visit and guess what we got to do. Oda Mae got two shots in the leg. One on the left and one on the right. Oda Momma had to turn away while Oda Daddy played faces with Oda Mae. She didn't cry at all!!!! The nurse said that she had never seen a baby not cry when they got a shot. Our little Oda Mae is the best Oda Baby in the world! At that visit she weighed 13 lb and 2 oz. She was 23 and 1/4 inches long. Our little girl is growing up. That makes me so sad.

At home Oda Mae is holding up her neck a lot and talking up a storm. Just today she was able to hold her rattle for the first time. She was having so much fun!

Oda Mae's hair had started falling out a while ago and is now starting to come back in. That's a good thing. Girls who are bald are just a little bit on the unusual side.

Today we are going shopping. Oda Mae loves to go shopping (see pic above from the Galleria Mall). She told me the other day that she can't wait to go Christmas shopping the day after Thanksgiving with Oda Aunt Sis.

Speaking of Thanksgiving, Oda Mae has graciously offered to help me put up Christmas lights this year. I'll be able to put her in her "Daddy Carrier" (pictured above) while we climb up the trees and stuff. I can't wait!

Well, dinner is in the oven. Oda Mae is sleeping again after a very fun playtime. Oda Momma came home from a nice time out and the family is back together again.

Overall, I think we all had a very nice time today.

Sorry about that. The telephone rang and Oda Momma came home at the same time. Now she is gone again.

I got most of the sauce made for dinner so I think that impressed Oda Momma. Oda Mae was still in the carrier in the bed and I think Oda Momma probably had one of those "what is he doing" looks, but she didn't really say anything.

She had a good time talking to her "old" work friends today. I'm glad.

Noodles are cooking, Oda Mae is still sleeping (is that okay; she's over an hour past her first lunch). What will that do to her night time schedule? Hmmmm.

Hmm, Oda Mae is into her first lunch time now and is still sleeping. (Yes, I checked on her to make sure she was still breathing.) I think maybe that extra 1.5 oz this morning did her in.

Tonight we will have, by decree of Oda Momma,....Lasagna for dinner. So, since the Oda Baby is still sleeping I will commence to prepare the sauce. I have no doubt what-so-ever that Oda Baby will wake up as I'm doing something very messy.

Back from the tire store where we had playtime. Yeahhhhh, playtime. Oda Momma happened to be at the Wal-Mart across the street when she called to see how things were going, so she stopped by to tell us that we were doing it wrong. :) I secretly think that she missed her Oda Mae and just wanted to see her before she went to the Jo Ann Shop.

On the way home Oda Mae fell asleep in the car and is now sleeping peacefully in her carrier next to Daddy while he blogs. Hmmmmm should I try to put her in her bed for naptime? It's naptime right now....

She seems pretty comfy.....

I think not.

We'll just see how she does in her carrier while Daddy goes and does some more practicing. I'm going to have to make some dinner sometime today. I may have to put some thought into that.....
